In 1945, brothers René and Raymond Bissonnette are coming from Lauzon, Québec, to purchase the funeral home of Arsène Michaud in Rimouski. Several years later, they purchase the funeral home of Mr. Mercier in Mont-Joli. His son Vincent Mercier becomes their manager. Then, at the dawn of 1990s, mister René Bissonnette is buying the whole of Raymond's shares, who is ready to retire.

Since 1978, Ms. Lise Proulx fills the positions of accountant and advisor to the family. Following Mr. Raymond Bissonnette retirement, Ms. Lise Proulx is promoted general director.
