It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Harris Smith from Gaspé on Sunday March 13, 2022, at the age of 81 years.
The family will receive condolences at the Valère Fortin Funeral Home in Gaspé on Wednesday, March 23, 2022. Visitation hours are from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
The funeral will take place at the Cathedral Christ-Roi in Gaspé on Thursday, March 24, 2022 at 4:30 pm. Please take note that on Thurday, the funeral home will open at 2:00 pm.
Mr. Harris Smith leaves to mourn :
his six children : Linda (John), Ronney (Tanya), Regis, Cynthia, Nancy, Harry;
his five grandchildren : Amy-Lee, Devon, Sasha, Nikitta, Eva;
his brother : Clement;
nieces and nephews.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Valère Fortin Funeral Home in Gaspé, a subsidiary of the HG Division network awarded DIstinction by the Corporation of Thanatologists of Québec and BNQ-certified by the Bureau de Normalisation du Québec.
HG Division management and staff offer their deepest condolences to the family and thank them for their trust.

Le dimanche 13 mars 2022 à Gaspé, est décédé M. Harris Smith à l'âge de 81 ans.
La famille recevra les condoléances à la Maison Funéraire Valère Fortin de Gaspé le mercredi 23 mars 2022 à compter de 19h00. Les heures de visite sont de 19h00 à 21h00.
Les funérailles auront lieu en la Cathédrale Christ-Roi de Gaspé le jeudi 24 mars 2022 à 16h30. Veuillez prendre note que jeudi, jour des funérailles, le salon funéraire ouvrira ses portes à 14h00.
Monsieur Harris Smith laisse dans le deuil :
ses 6 enfants : Linda (John), Ronney (Tanya), Regis, Cynthia, Nancy, Harry;
ses 5 petits-enfants : Amy-Lee, Devon, Sasha, Nikitta, Eva;
son frère : Clément;
nièces et neveux.
Les arrangements funéraires ont été confiés à la Maison Funéraire Valère Fortin de Gaspé, une filiale du réseau de la Division HG récompensée par la Distinction de la Corporation des thanatologues du Québec et certifiée BNQ par le Bureau de normalisation du Québec.
La direction et le personnel de la division HG présentent leurs plus sincères condoléances à la famille et la remercient pour leur confiance.
